Abbeydale Tennis Club was first established in 1882 and was one of the founder sports that formed Abbeydale Sports Club and we are very proud of our long history. The Tennis Club went through a complete redevelopment in 2009 and its new facilities include:
- 2 acrylic indoor tennis courts
- 4 outdoor tennis courts
- Outdoor floodlit facilities
- Purpose built Kids Zone
- 4 Indoor Padel Courts onsite through our partners Play Padel
- Free car parking
- Luxury Members Clubhouse
- Café & licensed bar
- Spacious outdoor patio - with partial gazebo covered section
- Tennis Pro Shop
- Our own Beauty Therapist - The Luxury Box (with Joanne Lomas)

Our Courts
The Club has two indoor courts that are American cement acrylic courts housed in our futuristic air dome!
The 4 outdoor championship all weather courts, which makes the surface playable all year round whatever the British weather.
We have a floodlit court for members who want to play under the stars once dusk has fallen.
Our Services
In early 2009 Abbeydale was awarded "Clubmark" which is Sport England's kite mark of a quality club: we were the first indoor tennis club in the UK to achieve this status.
